one-minute video on loop, stainless steel barrel, electro motor
Dimensions: video projection – 290cm x 200cm, stainless steel barrel Ø 25mm – 500cm x 200cm
The gallery consists of two rooms divided by a partition wall. On the partition wall seen from the first room, there is a video projection showing the shadow that rotates (360˚/60sek). In the second room there is a 5,5 meter long sculpture that rotates around it’s axis (360˚/60sek). The point where an iron sculpture (and it’s shadow) enters the partition wall is the point from which a shadow emerges on the other side of the wall. The mechanism that moves the sculpture is unknown.
