My practice consists of works that challenge audience’s preconceptions and expectations; questioning aspects of perception, memory, time and space.

The main features of my work are the use of gallery space as a framework for defining artistic work and affirmation of the imaginary as an authentic art place. I’m examining the physical and temporal circumstances of the space in which I work and this approach is at the core of all of my forms of expression (installations, video, collages and computer graphic).

The simplicity of form is an aesthetic choice which enables me to create a semblance of emptiness, a space which provides the viewer with the opportunity to individually discover its dimensions and meaning. The tension between multiplicity and void constitutes important aspect of my installations. A void is an active space of perception and it invites the viewer to participate in the construction of an imaginary volume in an open space.
